Delete your account

Request permanent deletion of your NYUS account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

How it works

We email a confirmation link to the account's address. Nothing is deleted until you confirm. Your account is then permanently deleted 7 days later, and the same email has a link to cancel until then. If you are signed in to the app, use Profile → Delete account instead: it skips the confirmation email because you are already signed in.

What will be deleted

• Account, profile, body stats, profile and progress photos.
• All logged meals, workouts, weights, and measurements.
• Data imported from Health Connect (steps, sleep, heart rate and other readings).
• AI coach chat history and messages.
• Friends, partner groups, and leaderboard entries. Groups or challenges you created pass to another member, or are deleted if no one else is in them.
• Push tokens and notification preferences.

What will be retained

• Payment records (plan, amount, date and Razorpay IDs), for as long as Indian tax law requires.
• A record that the deletion happened, with your email address removed.
• Encrypted database backups, kept for up to 90 days.

Health Connect data that NYUS has imported is stored on our servers and is deleted with your account. To stop further syncing, revoke NYUS's access in Health Connect settings.
